Organization & Partner
The AI24 is organized by the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, renowned for its unique research paradigm focused on application-oriented AI, in cooperation with the established Zukunftskongress Logistik, which has been promoting the exchange between science and business in Dortmund for over 40 years. The Lamarr Institute thus has a strong partner at its side, with whom it brings together two of Germany’s strengths: industry and academia.
By convening international decision-makers, managers, startups, and researchers, we aim to facilitate an exchange where industry seeks AI solutions and competent partners, while scientists seek practical data and industrial applications. Furthermore, AI developers seek international and interdisciplinary exchanges within new communities of experts.
The events will take place across multiple large exhibition halls, facilitating interaction between diverse stakeholders who may not typically converge. While the conference primarily targets a scientific audience, the accompanying industry trade show In2AI by our partner Messe Dortmund is geared towards industrial players next door. Attendees of the conference will have complimentary access to the trade show.
Dortmund serves as the logistical hub of Europe, recognized as the “Innovation Capital of Europe” by the European Commission. Home to esteemed institutions like the Lamarr Institute and the Data Science Center, Dortmund is a hotspot for AI research and industry innovation, strategically positioned within the heart of European industry and supply chains.
