Abstract

As AI continues to rise in prominence, so too has the focus on tech-related regulation. While various existing, new, and emerging regulations may apply differently depending on the particular context or domain, they generally require practitioners to adopt a risk management approach. This talk will explore some key aspects of risk management in the AI space, highlighting considerations relevant for practitioners that may not only help meet legal obligations but also encourage a more responsible approach to development, thereby leading to better innovation.
