Abstract

In this talk we present a novel project methodology for AI projects in the age of foundation models. We will explore the impact of foundation models on the execution of data science and AI projects. The novel methodology is based on a comprehensive theoretical foundation and our practical experience from more than 30 projects in which we utilized foundation models. This methodology is particularly tailored towards modern project challenges, requirements and success factors. We illustrate the paradigm shift with exemplary case studies.
